BOFA Filter Quality with SureCHECK
Maintaining High Standards of Quality
Donaldson BOFA are dedicated to offering the best possible filtering solutions. A special SureCHECK procedure is used to maintain a high level of quality. Every product that is manufactured undergoes thorough testing and inspections to guarantee its performance, dependability, and integrity.
The SureCHECK Process
Step 1
The production team produces the necessary documents for testing and guarantees accurate assembly of every product.
Step 2
Mechanical inspection checks are carried out to ensure the product’s shape and fit satisfy the specified quality requirements, including confirming that all physical safety features are properly fitted. Certain items tailored to a particular customer may also go through further physical inspections in accordance with their specifications. The product test checklist contains a record of the results.
Step 3
Safety regulations and the product test checklist are followed when conducting safety testing. The results are noted and kept on file, verifying that the product is safe to use.
Step 4
The product is fitted with the required firmware and programming, converting it from a group of assembled components into a working system.
The test technician performs and verifies every task, and the setup and revision information are logged as they are placed onto the system. The results are recorded on the product test checklist.
The system is now prepared for calibration and functional testing.
Step 5
To make sure the system is functioning accurately and within the specifications required, calibration of the system is necessary.
With different settings for each type of product, the test engineer calibrates the system in accordance with the product test checklist. Calibration settings are carefully set, verified, and documented for every system.
Additional features can be checked once the system has been calibrated.
Step 6
Different systems require different types of functionality testing, but all features are examined and documented on the system test checklist. Specialised test harnesses or jigs made to imitate the unit's real-world uses are frequently used in this procedure.
Results are recorded on the product test checklist. The system is now prepared for the last phase of the SureCHECK procedure as its functionality has been verified.
Step 7
The system is given the mark of approval and a SureCHECK label when testing is completed and the results are recorded.
Step 8
The item is prepared for packaging and delivery. A careful examination is done throughout the packaging process to look for any physical defects or markings. This attention to detail guarantees that the product is transported in perfect condition, maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the whole process, from testing through to delivery.
